The Corporate University of Russian Railways continues to provide learning for the Indian Railways

The Corporate University of Russian Railways continues to implement the technical visit programme "Russian Railways: Experience, Technologies, Development Strategy" for the experts of Indian Railways in Russia, which was successfully launched in March 2019.

The programme was developed by the Corporate University of Russian Railways at the request of the Personnel Education and Training Directorate of the Ministry of Railways of the Republic of India. After evaluating the results of the spring technical visit, which was attended by 80 Indian railway experts, the management of Indian Railways initiated the continuation of successful cooperation, and on September 27, the study tour of the next stream was completed. This time the audience amounted to 100 people.

The one-week technical visit programme covered such topics as the development strategy of JSC "Russian Railways", modern processes and technologies for providing transportation, as well as issues of developing managers and prospective employees of the company at the Corporate University.

Colleagues from India visited the laboratories of the experimental ring of the All-Russian Research Institute of Railway Transport, the largest marshalling yards in Russia, the multifunctional terminal and logistics center "Baltiysky" — the first "Dry Port" of Russia.

Considering the high interest of our colleagues from India in continuing to study the successful experience of Russian Railways, as well as the results of the programme implementation in 2019, it is planned to further develop cooperation in developing Indian railway experts in Russia.
