The Corporate University of Russian Railways participated in the exhibition of the III International Construction Championship. A large-scale industry event, which brought together construction industry professionals from 40 countries, took place in St. Petersburg in October 2023. Within the framework of the scientific and educational cluster, experts from the Corporate University presented learning programmes aimed at strengthening the competencies of top management of Russian Railways.

In five days, about 15,000 people from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Turkey, China, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Rwanda, Tajikistan, Ethiopia, Tunisia and other countries became guests of the III International Construction Championship. Over 1,500 qualified specialists demonstrated the level of professional skills in the competition programme.

The Russian flagships of state and corporate business education, including the Corporate University of Russian Railways, the Academy of Rosatom and the Corporate University of Gazprom joined the work of the scientific and educational cluster. Cluster visitors received a detailed view of modern professional development programmes in the areas of management pool development, digital literacy, and innovation.

The activities of the Corporate University are a fundamental part of the long-term strategy for the development of the human capital of Russian Railways and it is great that the Company construction departments are actively involved in this work through specialized pool development programmes, educational marathons, and strategic sessions."

The exhibition stand of the RZDstroy company was also dedicated to innovations, where one of the largest industrial developers in Russia showed unique developments in the field of digital design using VR technologies.

In the professional skills competition of the III International Construction Championship, the Russian Railways company was represented by the team consisting of the best representatives of working specialties, engineers and managers. The excellent level of training provided the railway experts with a position in the final and allowed them to win two gold and two bronze awards.
