For more than 15 years (since 2006) over 1 500 young railway specialists from Europe, Asia and North America have taken part in our international youth programs.

Our job covers 3 main issues:

• Development of professional and leadership potential of young employees through the advanced experience and technologies of partnering companies;
• Creation of international youth professional communities and social networks for the integration processes in the territories of «1520» tracks;
• Promoting the positive image of rail transport in the international youth environment.

JSC «Russian Railways» offers its partners the implementation of joint two-way, international youth programs aimed at exchanging experience between young railway specialists from Russia, the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Asia, Africa, Latin America, as well as Europe and North America.

Each exchange program can last from up 7 to 14 days and provides professional enrichment for both sides. Through short-term visits we cultivate continuous relationships and make not only partners but friends.

The annual JSC RZD Youth Meeting hosts an International section of young delegates from railway administrations and companies from CIS, Asia, Latin America as well as Europe and North America. Since 2011 the International section has welcomed more than 500 young participants from over 30 countries.

The goal of the Meeting is to promote free float of ideas on the one hand and develop communication skills, on the other.

«Young talents» is youth contest. It starts usually in spring. It is free to enter and open to all young RZD employees asked to submit an online application form. The requirements are traditionally the following: fluent English, total experience at RZD not less than 1 year and willingness to take part in international youth projects. The selection process includes individual interviews, essays preparation and various tests.

Training programs are conducted for high-potential employees and managers to improve the skills of intercultural communication, working with information and developing various project solutions. Among them, «Leaders of the international transport market», «Foundations of international partnership».

We are currently working on several projects. All of them are based on terms and goals of international youth cooperation but varies in forms and content.

• Internships. Such programs focused on creating a new space for international communication, sharing production experience and presentation of the national cultures, processing interaction with Сhina, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Mongolia and Uzbekistan.
• Production sessions can be held with several railway companies and are devoted to various functional areas of railway transport development
